About HollyMae

Hailing from Wales, HollyMae began her photography journey with her mother's camera, chasing butterflies in the vegetable garden. She was gifted a camera of her own when she was 12 and began capturing the breathtaking landscapes of Wales: the castles, mountains, wildlife and rivers; flowers and fauna.

Now living on Gadigal Country in Sydney's Inner West, HollyMae continues to photograph the wide horizons and big skies of Australia. She has combined her lifelong love for theatre with her skills in photography. Her work includes behind the scenes rehearsals and tech and dress run photography for productions by New Ghosts Theatre Company, Akimbo & Co, and Andy Freeborn at the Old Fitz Theatre, Yellow Line Theatre at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre and Bear Tiger Productions, amongst other companies.

HollyMae is currently broadening her photography to include film and TV production.  She is working on upcoming film, ‘Onward’, in August.
